Determination of Timeline. The President, or designee, will develop a timetable for the process in consultation with the committee including the date of employment. If the timetable indicates that the process will (or does) extend beyond the end of spring quarter, any faculty committee member who cannot make a commitment to complete the total process will be replaced. That faculty member's division will elect a new member to the pool. The President will then select the committee replacement from the balance of the pool.

Determination of Timeline. Deadline The district and union shall establish a mutually-agreed upon timeline for the unit loss process as described below. The timeline shall include the following events: school sites identifying surplus teachers and vacancies to Human Resources, HR & CFEA representatives meeting with surplus teachers, posting vacancies, application/interview/selection process, teachers in the pool selecting positions, deadlines for selection and placement. Roles of Finance, HR, and CFEA The Finance department will prepare the school/department allocations and submit them to Human Resources. CFEA will be notified of unit losses prior to notification of any individual employee.
