Posting Vacancies. 1 The principal shall be responsible for notifying the Department of Human Resources of vacancies that are open at their school as soon as they are known.

Posting Vacancies. Copies of all postings for vacant positions shall be forwarded at the time of posting to the Association president, School Administrative Officers, and Association staff representatives.
Posting Vacancies. Where a vacancy occurs or a regular position is created the Employer shall notify the Union in writing. The Employer shall post notice of the vacancy in the Employer's offices and on all bulletin boards, for a minimum of five (5) working days, containing the nature of the position (e.g. nature of position, qualifications, required knowledge, education, skills, hours of work, wage/salary). Casual employees shall be eligible to apply for any regular vacancy posted under this Article provided always they possess the necessary qualifications, experience, skill and ability to perform the work in question. Casual employees who are interested in positions above the entry level shall provide the Employer with a written expression of interest application in such positions. The Employer shall fill casual positions above the entry level through the expression of interest application. In making their determination the Employer shall consider required knowledge, education, and skills. When these factors are equal among applicants, then existing employees having the greatest seniority shall receive preference. All determinations of qualifications, experience, skill and ability shall be made by the Employer. Where there are no suitable applicants, the Employer may recruit from outside.
Posting Vacancies. The following provisions apply only to position vacancies which are posted. 1. The teaching department shall post identified position vacancies, but may, at its discretion, post the position vacancies three (3) times in an academic year, i.e. Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer semester; or two (2) times in an academic year, i.e. Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer semester, or one time in an academic year. Posting notices for positions that are identified at the beginning of the semester shall be prepared and posted by the first week of each semester. Assistant positions that are identified subsequent to the first week of the semester shall be posted as the positions are identified. 2. Each position vacancy posting will be posted on-line. The Union shall have access to the on-line postings.
Posting Vacancies. (a) All regular full-time vacancies will be posted the first Wednesday following the week during which the Board becomes aware that a vacancy will exist. In the event a Department decides to review its staffing requirements then the posting of the vacancies may be delayed. The Human Resources Department will notify the Union of the reasons for any delay and the expected length of the delay. The commencement date of the vacant position will be included on the posting. (b) Vacancies and new positions covered by this Agreement shall be posted and remain posted for a period of five (5) working days prior to the filling of the vacancy and new position. (c) Job Postings shall contain the following information: nature of position, qualifications, required knowledge and education, skills, shift, wage or salary rate or range, and anticipated length of any temporary assignment. (d) Effective 2017 January 25, where a Regular Full-Time Employee is the successful candidate on a posting for a temporary position, the position vacated by the Regular Full-Time Employee will be posted. Subsequent positions are not required to be posted. (e) Successful applicants will be notified within ten (10) working days of the closing of the posting. (f) Successful applicants shall start within fifteen (15) working days of being notified or shall receive the new rate of pay if unable to start within the fifteen (15) days, except in the cases of demotions. (g) Effective 2017 January 25, established Regular Part-Time positions of (16) hours or more per week and Temporary Full-Time positions (including temporary vacancies in regular full-time positions) which are expected to exceed six (6) months shall be posted.

When a vacancy occurs the position shall be posted within ten (10) calendar days of the vacancy and filled within twenty (20) working days of the effective date, providing a qualified candidate has been identified. 2. A job vacancy will be posted and circulated listing the requirements of the position, classification, location, number of hours, starting date and qualifications; vacancies will be posted for a period of five (5) working days. 3. If a position becomes vacant during the summer months when school is not in session, the Board shall post for a period of ten (10) calendar days. Notice will be given to all bargaining union members who have, before leaving employment in June, filed with the Human Resource Department written notice of his/her interest in receiving announcements together with an email address or U.S. Mail address to which the announcement should be sent. All postings will also be U.S. mailed to any member on the layoff list to their address on record. Employees are responsible for notifying the Human Resources Department of any change of address. 4. Employees interested in the vacancy and having on file the posted qualifications for the vacancy may apply in writing to the Human Resource Office within the posting period. Evidence that the Employee possesses the posted qualifications shall be on file in the Human Resource Office at the time of application. Testing may not be required for an applicant who currently holds a position within the bargaining unit. 5. Job vacancies within the bargaining unit will be filled on the basis of interview, demonstrated work performance, qualifications (including factors such as, but not limited to. Background, punctuality, efficiency, team oriented, ability to perform duties and possess skills and/or experience listed in the job description) and seniority. The Superintendent or designee shall select the most qualified member. 6. A Probationary Employee may apply for a posted position to be considered along with external applicants. However, the bid will be considered only when a Status Employee has not received the position. If the Probationary Employee wins a position, such Employee must serve a Probationary Period for sixty (60) days worked in the new position. 7. The Union shall be notified of all bargaining unit applicants for the position. Posting Vacancies. 1. Vacancies that occur in certified positions shall be posted online for not less than five (5) working days prior to their being filled or advertised outside the district. The five- (5) day posting requirement may be suspended by the Administration on June 1 each year. The five-day posting requirement shall resume on the first day of October. 2. During the summer months, vacancies shall be posted as they occur each week online. 3. Such notice will set forth the requirements for, special qualifications of, and compensation for the vacant position. 4. An email shall be sent to the President of the Association notifying the President that the online postings have changed and, during the summer months of June, July and August, the same email will be sent to any employee who so requests and provides his/her email address.

Posting Vacancies. Whenever any vacancy in any teacher or administrative position in the district shall occur, the Board shall publicize the same by giving written notice of such vacancy to the Association and providing for appropriate posting in every school building. No vacancy shall be filled, except in case of emergency upon a temporary basis, until such vacancy shall have been posted for at least seven (7) days. Administrative positions that are not being filled by a current administrator will be posted for at least three (3) days.
Posting Vacancies. E.13.1 In this Article vacancy means a newly created position or an existing position to which a teacher is not assigned and which the Board considers necessary to fill. All teachers in the district are eligible to apply for all vacancies. Start date and, if applicable, end date; c. Necessary qualifications pursuant to Article E.14.4. E.13.6 Advertisements, application forms and interviews for appointment to the teaching staff of the district shall not include reference to extra-curricular activities and programs and such matters shall not form part of any contract of employment.
