Differentials for Long-Term Care Hourly Employees a. Except for CJE hourly employees employed as Resident Care Assistants or Resident Assistants at CJE long-term care facilities, all hourly employees in Long-Term Care who work a shift beginning with the second shift on Fridays (3:00 - 11:30 p.m.) and ending with the second shift on Sunday (3:00 - 11:30 p.m.) shall be paid an hourly weekend differential in addition to any other applicable differentials in the amounts shown on the effective date shown: Effective Date January 1, 2020 $.75 CJE hourly employees employed as Resident Care Assistants or Resident Assistants at CJE long-term care facilities who work a shift beginning with the second shift on Fridays (3:00 - 11:30 p.m.) and ending with the second shift on Sundays (3:00 - 11:30 p.m.) shall be paid an hourly shift differential of $2.00 per hour beginning on January 1, 2020.

In recognition of the fact that they are involved in direct patient care, Certified Nurse Aides at Xxxxxxxxx shall receive a premium of five percent (5%) for working the second consecutive and continuing consecutive Sundays. The provisions of this Subparagraph a shall not apply to Certified Nurse Aides at Xxxxxxxxx who are regularly scheduled to work the shift that begins at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday night and ends at 7:30 a.m. on Monday morning or whose regular schedule includes Sundays.

  • Hourly Employees A new hourly employee shall be on probation for the first year of continuous employment. The employer shall have the right to extend the probationary period by one (1) year if the employee receives a less than satisfactory evaluation. During such probationary period, the employee may be disciplined, suspended or discharged by the Employer for reasons satisfactory to the Employer. Paid leave time shall serve as part of continuous employment.

  • Long Term Leaves a. A unit member may be granted a leave of absence, with or without pay, by the Board of Education upon recommendation of the Superintendent or designee for a period not to exceed one (1) year when such action is not contrary to the best interests of the District.

  • Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Employees outside the bargaining unit will not perform work that is normally done by employees in the bargaining unit.
