DISTRICT MERGING. In the event that the Grand Rapids School District is combined with one (1) or more school districts, the Board shall use its best efforts to assure the continued employment of its employees in such consolidated district, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, contractual agreements with individual teachers shall be binding.
