District Seniority. District seniority is defined as the length of continuous paid employment with the District, calculated from the date of original hire, including the probationary period, if any, in a permanent position.
District Seniority. The date an employee is actively at work and on the payroll as a certified employee with the bargaining unit covered under this agreement. Employees who are on unpaid leaves of absence of more than ninety (90) working days shall have their seniority date adjusted to reflect the days they were not on active duty.
District Seniority. The total time an employee has worked for the School Board without loss of seniority under Section 4.
District Seniority. District seniority shall be established as follows: The employee having the longest term of service with the District shall be number one on the seniority list, with all other employees listed in descending order of time with the District.
District Seniority. Every employee’s name will appear in order of District Seniority. Said list shall be compiled by placing employees’ names at the top of the list in descending order of the District Seniority as defined above.
District Seniority. Upon the satisfactory completion of the probationary period, an employee’s seniority shall relate back to his/her first day of continuous permanent service in the District. If more than one (1) employee begins work on the same day, seniority ranking for such employee shall be determined by the last four digits of the employee’s social security number and whichever is higher shall be deemed more senior.
District Seniority. District seniority as used herein is defined as the length of an employee’s continuous employment since his or her Employment Date with the District as an IBEW employee, a predecessor Company, any of the named listed predecessors in Section 7.2 above.
District Seniority. Effective upon the date of ratification of this contract, all employees will have seniority based on the date the employee is actively at work and on the payroll as a certified employee in any of the bargaining units covered under this agreement. Employees who are on unpaid leaves of absence of more than ninety (90) working days shall have their seniority date adjusted to reflect the days they were not on active duty. Where seniority is a required factor in the transfer, hiring, excessing or layoff of employees, District seniority, rather than classification seniority, will be used. Classification seniority will be used to break a tie in District seniority
District Seniority. Overtime shall be offered on a seniority rotation basis from another building or department when there is no employee available from within the building.
