A District-wide teacher shall follow the work day hours of the building where he/she begins the day. Teachers who are assigned to more than one school shall have their schedules arranged so that travel time does not infringe upon the traveling teacher’s lunch or preparation period. The Board and Association understand that scheduling requirements may necessitate occasional exceptions to the above weekly planning time for some District-wide teachers, but recognize that affected teachers shall, over the course of the school year, receive an average of at least (5) hours of preparation and planning time during the teacher work day.
