Doctorate Degree Stipend. Add a stipend of $1,600.00, effective July 1, 2004, for Ph.D., Ed.D. and Psych.D. where the degree is related to the teacher’s job.
Doctorate Degree Stipend. 18.19.1 Any teacher possessing a Doctorate Degree in the field of Education or the content area in which they teach, shall receive an annual stipend of $1,500.
Doctorate Degree Stipend. The Board shall pay an annual stipend of $3,000 to any employee who holds or earns a doctorate degree. The Board shall treat the stipend as pensionable, but with the parties’ understanding that a final determination as to its pensionability is at the discretion of the Division of Pensions and Benefits. A doctorate degree shall qualify an employee for this stipend only if it was earned from one of the institutions listed in Section A.4 of this ARTICLE. Employees belonging to the Association before July 1, 2021 shall be entitled to the stipend if they possess a doctorate degree from any accredited institution, regardless of whether it appears on said list, or if they are enrolled in a program toward obtaining such a degree from any accredited institution no later than June 30, 2021.
