Common use of Dropping a License Clause in Contracts

Dropping a License. All teachers are required to maintain a copy of their valid teaching license on file with the School District Office. A teacher may drop a certification on his or her license if they have not taught for the School District in the area of certification for the preceding five-year license period. Violation of this provision shall be deemed to be insubordination and grounds for termination of the teacher’s individual contract under Minn. Stat. §122A.40.
