During Overtime Worked Immediately Following or Immediately Preceding an Employee's Regular Shift. If an employee is required to work overtime immediately following or immediately preceding the employee's regular shift under Clause 4.51(a)(i) or Clause 4.51(a)(ii) then upon the completion by the employee of two (2) continuous hours of such overtime work, the employee shall be given a paid meal period of one-half (½) hour which the City may permit the employee to begin at any time within the two (2) hour work period if the City estimates that two (2) hours of overtime work will be required; provided however that, except in the case of an emergency, the meal period shall begin no later than the end of the two (2) hour work period. Upon the completion by the employee of three and one-half (3½) continuous hours of overtime work following the completion of the two (2) hour work period by the employee, the employee shall be given another paid meal period of one-half (½) hour which, except in the case of an emergency, shall be taken at the end of each three and one-half (3½) hour work period.

  • Retention Period The Engineer shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred and services provided (hereinafter called the Records). The Engineer shall make the records available at its office during the contract period and for seven (7) years from the date of final payment under this contract, until completion of all audits, or until pending litigation has been completely and fully resolved, whichever occurs last.
