Dust. There is a potential for dust created from crushers and blasts. It is advisable to avoid the dust or wear proper personal protective gear.
Dust. All floors, ceilings and walls including the inside of the trenches and other openings shall be given a surface that minimizes dust generation. It is recommended that all surfaces be painted in a light color to improve visibility and to promote safety. All painting, sanding, placement of doors and windows or similar will be completed.
Dust. All plant and equipment having intakes or breathers or having lubricated parts exposed to atmosphere shall have adequate protection by filter or bellows against the ingress or absorption of process dust or ambient dust-laden air. Such dusts may be of a very fine nature and although mainly in the 30-70 micron range may be down to 10 microns or lower.
Dust. All precautions will be taken to prevent dirt and dust from permeating other parts of the Building during the progress of the Alterations. Materials and rubbish will be placed in barrels or bags, before being taken out of the Unit daily. All such barrels or bags, rubbish, rubble, discarded equipment, empty packing cartons and other materials will be taken out of the Building and removed from the premises daily by the Unit owner’s Contractor or, if it fails to do so, the Condominium at Unit owner's expense. So that maximum security is provided, the Condominium at its sole discretion shall have the right to employ, at Unit owner's cost and expense, a uniformed security guard on whatever days and hours that may be required. Access to the Unit during Alteration may be limited to the service door. In no event may debris from the Alterations be allowed to remain in the hallways, basement or other public areas of the Building. Unit owner will insure that such public areas will be kept clean and will repair any damage caused by the removal of debris from the Unit.
Dust. Great Northern will ensure the effects of dust from its mining and processing operations are minimized through the implementation of best management practices, new technology and industry standards that include:
(1) Watering of road and travel-ways;
(2) Use of dust collection/suppression and emission control equipment throughout mining and processing facilities;
(3) Use of berms and vegetative barriers along sensitive property boundaries; and
(4) Concurrent reclamation practices as mining progresses.
Dust. The Contractor shall take all reasonable measures to minimize the generation of dust as a result of construction activities to the satisfaction of the PM Regular dust control measures in the form of dust suppression with water spraying shall be conducted by the Contractor. Where possible, soil stockpiles shall be located in sheltered areas where they are not exposed to the erosive effects of the wind.

Materials and rubbish will be placed in barrels or bags, before being taken out of the Unit daily. All such barrels or bags, rubbish, rubble, discarded equipment, empty packing cartons and other materials will be taken out of the Building and removed from the Unit daily by the Unit owner’s Contractor or, if it fails to do so, the Condominium at Unit owner's expense. Unit owner recognizes that only the service elevator may be used for such removal and only at such times as the Alteration Administrator, Chief Engineer, Assistant to the General Manager may direct. So that maximum security is provided, the Condominium at its sole discretion shall have the right to employ, at Unit owner's cost and expense, a uniformed security guard on whatever days and hours that may be required. Unit owner will insure that such public areas will be kept clean and will repair any damage caused by the removal of debris from the Unit. Unit Owner agrees to insure that applicable contractors are EPA Lead Safe certified renovators and that they follow EPA guidelines for lead safe renovations Rule 40 CFR Part 745 Lead Based Paint Renovation Repair and Painting Program for buildings built 1978 and before (effective 4/22/10).
Dust. The nature of the waste is such that dust production is minimal. Regular covering of the waste to maintain a small tipping face will minimise any dust that may be produced from the site. If it is noticed that there is a significant amount of dust that is being produced from the site, that could have an impact on a receptor beyond the site boundary, the source of the dust shall be covered immediately and wetted if required.
Dust. Remove particulates attached to surfaces by static or settled by gravity
Dust. The proposed effluent reuse system will be constructed together with the Ngong Ping STP and Sewerage Project. The major potential air quality impact during construction of this Project is dust arising from general construction activities, including land clearing, drilling and rock breaking, construction of foundation and superstructures, handling and transportation of construction and demolition material, and from wind erosion of open sites and stockpiling areas.
