Duty Chief On-Call Standby. Those Captains who are assigned to be on Duty Chief standby will be paid Three Dollars ($3.00) per hour standby pay in addition to any overtime for actual callback. Employee shall meet the minimum response time requirement while on stand-by. In order to provide coverage in the absence of administrative staff the Fire Chief may allow the acting Captains to voluntarily sign up for Duty Chief stand-by shifts. (This will be set forth in a department policy by the Chief.)
