Overtime for safety work during leisure time
Overtime for. Corrections Officers shall be distributed as equitably as practicable. The Employer shall maintain an overtime list for Corrections Officers on the basis of employee seniority in order to determine which employees shall be scheduled for overtime opportunities and shall make a reasonable attempt to contact the appropriate employee on the overtime list. The first available opportunity shall be offered to the first person on the overtime list. The Employer shall move down the list by seniority until the overtime opportunity is accepted. Overtime will be offered to the shift that is on duty first and then to the first person on the overtime list.
Overtime for full-time and part-time Employees will be paid at the rate of 150% of the minimum hourly rate for the first 2 hours and 200% thereafter.
Overtime for an Employee who is employed as a shuttle bus driver shall be paid at:
a. the ordinary time rate where the Employee works 9.5 hours per day or less; and
b. time and a half of the ordinary time rate for each hour worked in excess of 9.5 hours per day. Payment of overtime shall be calculated on a daily basis subject to the actual ordinary hours being worked by an Employee who is employed as a shuttle bus driver in a day. Any absence or period of time off from work (including sick leave, bereavement leave, annual leave, unpaid leave and public holidays) shall not be counted as or included in the actual hours worked per day.
Overtime for. Unit Members Receiving a Reduction in Hours in Shift Differential
§ 6.14.1 A unit member in the bargaining unit whose shift differential premium consists of a reduction in assigned hours shall be paid at the appropriate overtime rate in accordance with this Article for all hours worked in excess of seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours in any one (1) day or on any one (1) shift or in excess of thirty-seven and one-half (37- 1/2) hours in any one (1) calendar week, whether such hours are worked prior to the commencement of a regularly assigned starting time or subsequent to the regularly assigned quitting time. All overtime shall be paid based on a regular rate which includes a shift differential premium of 5% where provided.
Overtime for. Temporary Employees hired after September 24, 2002
1. Overtime rates shall be computed by dividing the employee's basic weekly salary by his/her normal weekly hours of work.
2. Where regular employees work side by side or perform the same work as the temporary employee, they will be afforded the opportunity to work overtime before the temporary employee.
Overtime for a normal workweek is defined to include any time worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day or on any one shift or in excess of forty (40) hours in any calendar week, regardless of the day of the week worked.
Overtime for an Employee who is employed as a shuttle bus driver shall be authorised time worked outside the ordinary weekly hours worked by the Employee.
Overtime for such registered practical nurses shall be defined as being all hours worked in excess of the normal or standard extended work day, as set out in Article 2.1 and subject to Article 3.3 below.
Overtime for. All Employees shall be paid at time and one-half to all full-time employees who are required to work more than a normal schedule. Employees who are required to work on a Sunday or Holiday shall be paid double the employee’s regular hourly rate of pay and shall be given a compensatory day off for each holiday (but no Sunday) an employee shall have worked.
