Common use of EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT Clause in Contracts

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. All full time Employees shall be entitled to three (3) days paid study / examination / conference leave per annum for the purposes of attending courses, conferences and/or undertaking or preparing for examinations in a relevant course of study relevant to their work at the facility and is conducted by a recognised institution or training organisation. Part time Employees who work not less than four (4) shifts per fortnight shall be entitled to leave under this clause, on a pro rata basis.
