Common use of Education Fund Clause in Contracts

Education Fund. Upon the date this MOU is approved, and every July 1 during the term of this MOU, the City will provide the League with $300,000 to be used exclusively for training and education for employees of this Unit. The funds are to be used for employment-related programs or degree programs to prepare employees for promotion. Expenditures of these funds will be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the League, which will also be responsible for providing the City Administrative Officer with a record of all expenditures on a semi-annual basis.
