Common use of Education Fund Clause in Contracts

Education Fund. This Section 2. shall apply to events that occur during the Policy Period In the event of the death or Permanent Total Disablement of the Insured Person’s parent(s) or legal guardian during the Policy Period as result of an Injury sustained during the Policy Period, then providing the Insured Person is below seventeen (17) years old (or below twenty-three (23) years old if the Insured Person is unmarried and studying full-time at the OEI), the Company shall pay on behalf of the Insured Person and directly to the OEI the unpaid Tuition fee for which the Insured Person is legally liable for the remaining period of the current education year only, subject to Maximum Benefits stated in the Schedule of Benefits in the Policy. A claim must be accompanied by an invoice of Tuition which is issued to the Insured Person by the OEI.
