Effect of Receipt. A Notice shall be deemed given or served only upon actual receipt by the addressee. In the case of electronic mail, “actual receipt” must be confirmed by a “Read Receipt” or other confirmation of receipt by the recipient. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if any Notice (including, without limitation, any Notice sent by electronic mail) is delivered after 4:00 p.m. on any weekday, on a weekend (Saturday or Sunday), on any federal or State of California holiday, or on any Public Agency furlough day mandated by the State of California or the Governing Body, the Notice shall be deemed to have been given or served as of 9:00a.m. on the next business day.
Effect of Receipt. (a) A Notice given in accordance with this Clause 18.1 is treated as having been given and received:
(i) if personally delivered, on delivery;
(ii) if sent by pre-paid mail, on the fifth clear Business Day after the date of posting (or the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if sent to or from an address outside Australia);
(iii) if sent by facsimile, when the senders fax machine produces a transmission report stating that the transmission of the entire Notice was complete; and
(iv) if sent by email, at the top of transmission by the sender, unless the sender receives an automated notice generated by the sender's or the recipient's email server that the email was not delivered, except that if the delivery, receipt or transmission, is after 5.00pm in the place of receipt or on a day which is not a Business Day, it is taken to have been received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
Effect of Receipt. Depending on the value of ResultCode and ReasonCode, the DME should take appropriate action. For example, if the reservation was established successfully, the DME may signal the MAC client to transfer data to the MAC for that stream. If the DRP negotiation failed, or the available bandwidth has changed, the DME should signal the lack of resources to the MAC client.
Effect of Receipt. The DME evaluates the reservation request in terms of the device’s availability and generates an MLME-DRP.response.
Effect of Receipt. The recipient is notified of the results of the procedure of removing an ASIE from the beacon.
Effect of Receipt. The recipient is notified of the results of the procedure of exiting hibernation.
Effect of Receipt. The recipient is notified that a probe response was received.
Effect of Receipt. (a) A Notice given in accordance with this clause 6 is treated as having been given and received:
(i) if personally delivered, on delivery;
(ii) if sent by pre-paid mail, on the fifth clear Business Day after the date of posting (or the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if sent to or from an address outside Australia);
(iii) if sent by facsimile, when the sender's fax machine produces a transmission report stating that the transmission of the entire Notice was complete; and
(iv) if sent by email, on the date and time shown at which it enters the addressee's information system (as shown in a confirmation delivery report from the sender's information system which indicates the email was sent to the email address of the addressee notified for the purposes of this clause); except that, if the delivery, receipt or transmission is after 5.00pm in the place of receipt or on a day which is not a Business Day, it is taken to have been received at 9.00am on the next Business Day.
(b) The particulars for delivery of Notices for each party are initially those set out in Schedule 1.
(c) A party may change its address for the delivery of Notices by notifying that change to each other party. The notification is effective on the later of the date specified in the Notice or five Business Days after the Notice is given.
Effect of Receipt. A Notice shall be deemed to have been given or served only upon actual receipt by the addressee. In the case of email, “actual receipt” shall mean delivery to the recipient’s email in-box. However, if any Notice (including, without limitation, any Notice sent by email) is delivered after 4:00 p.m. on any business day, or is delivered on any day that is not a business day, the Notice shall be deemed to have been given or served as of 9:00 a.m. on the next subsequent business day.
Effect of Receipt. As specified in Annex C, the DME may use a single measurement result to calculate a single range estimate. Local and remote ranging clock options may be used to calculate confidence levels or error probabilities. Multiple measurements may be used to detect and correct for frequency errors between the local and remote clock frequencies.
