Effective January. 1, 1991, a full-time employee who becomes a part-time employee will maintain his/her present sick leave accumulation unless it exceeds the pro-rated maximum accumulation. Sick leave credits in excess of the pro-rated maximum will be segregated into an account entitled "excess sick leave account" and will be reinstated on a pro-rata basis should that person increase his/her percentage of time worked.
