Elementary Teaching Hours. No elementary classroom teacher will be assigned more than 1670 minutes of student instruction time during a typical five day week, i.e. an average of 334 minutes per day, exclusive of recess and special teacher instruction. Scheduled annual instructional time will not exceed five (5) hours above state mandated instructional time.
