Emergency Leave During Vacation. Emergency leave will not be granted if the emergency occurs during a previously scheduled vacation, unless such leave starts prior to the time that the vacation is scheduled. When the leave starts prior to the time the vacation is scheduled the absence will be charged to emergency leave rather than vacation. If the emergency occurs after the vacation is started, the time will be charged to vacation and not to emergency leave.
