Common use of Emergency Leave/Medical Crisis Clause in Contracts

Emergency Leave/Medical Crisis. Absence chargeable to sick leave, not to exceed two (2) days per school year (July 1 – June 30), will be allowed each employee when emergency situations develop which are beyond the control of the employee. Such absence must be approved by the principal or immediate supervisor, and if denied, the employee may apply directly to the Superintendent. Unused emergency leave days are not accumulative from year to year. “
