Emergency Message Service. The Emergency Message Service is provided to reach students on campus. When an emergency arises, call (000) 000-0000. The staff will then access the student’s schedule from the database file and determine if it is possible to reach the student in class. A staff member then takes a message directly to the student’s classroom. General Academic Regulations Students are responsible for complying with all regulations of the University, their respective colleges and the departments from which they take courses, as well as for fulfilling all degree requirements. Students are responsible for knowing and complying with all academic regulations.

New Student Orientation New Student Orientation is an exciting event that facilitates students’ successful transition to the UNM-Los Alamos campus. The mandatory orientation includes a campus tour, introductions to faculty, staff, and other new students, information about academic advisement, registration, policies and procedures, and strategies for college success. Student Services, located in the lower level of Building 2, 000-000-0000, holds New Student Orientation prior to each Fall Semester. Student Attendance/Class Absences Students must attend all class meetings for the courses in which they are enrolled. If a student is ill, or scheduled to miss class due to an authorized University activity such as a field trip, athletic trip etc., the student must contact his/her instructor(s) prior to class. If a student is unable to contact his/her instructor(s), the student should leave a message with the Office of Instruction. Even though a student has reported the absence he/she is still responsible for all missed work. The student must take the initiative to arrange with the instructor(s) to make up all missed work, and it is expected the faculty member(s) will make reasonable arrangements with the student. Verification (such as doctor’s note, hospital billing, military orders, death notices, etc.) of a student’s absence should be provided as requested. The Office of Instruction is located in Building 6, 000-000-0000.

  • TEXT MESSAGING WHILE DRIVING In accordance with Executive Order (EO) 13513, “Federal Leadership on Reducing Text Messaging While Driving,” any and all text messaging by Federal employees is banned: a) while driving a Government owned vehicle (GOV) or driving a privately owned vehicle (POV) while on official Government business; or b) using any electronic equipment supplied by the Government when driving any vehicle at any time. All cooperators, their employees, volunteers, and contractors are encouraged to adopt and enforce policies that ban text messaging when driving company owned, leased or rented vehicles, POVs or GOVs when driving while on official Government business or when performing any work for or on behalf of the Government.

  • Internet Service In the event that internet is required during your stay, please verify that the Property selected provides the service. Rules of the House: In the event there are rules specific to your Property either required by the Owner or if applicable from an HOA, they will be posted at the home and your compliance is necessary. Rental Unit for Sale: Occasionally a Property may go on the market for sale. In such cases Agent reserves the right to show the Property to potential buyers. Agent will make every effort to schedule the showing at a time that is convenient for Tenant, so as not to interrupt your vacation. Tenant’s cooperation is appreciated. Consumable Products: Paper products, laundry/dish detergent, personal toiletry items and food staples are not included in the Properties. Linens: Linens are included with all Properties for reservations up to 2 days or more. If linens and towels are damaged or missing there will be an added fee to replace and/or clean those items. Linens and towels should only be used for sleeping in and drying off. Damaged or missing bath towels are $25, hand towels are $15, wash cloths are $10, sheets are $30, pillow cases are $15, and bath mats are $20. Damaged items might include makeup, blood stains, excessive dirt, tanning lotion, and human waste.
