Common use of Emergency Personnel Clause in Contracts

Emergency Personnel. A. It is understood that from time to time the Employer has a need to place emergency personnel on the payroll. Emergency personnel are those in pay status for no more than thirty (30) calendar days in any emergency situation. It is agreed that emergency personnel are not members of the bargaining unit and are therefore not covered under the terms of this Agreement. Further, it is agreed that the current 2 AAC 07.190 on Emergency Appointments shall continue in full force and effect.
