Emeritus. A. Retired faculty who have a minimum of 15 years of full-time service at Xxxxxx Valley College District may apply for emeritus status. B. To receive emeritus status faculty must meet the requirements set out in AP 7211 and fill out and turn in to HR the “Application for Emeritus Status”. (Appendix A) C. Emeritus status is for life and recipients will be given a designation appropriate to the service rendered (eg. Professor Emeritus, Counselor Emeritus, Librarian Emeritus, etc.). D. Emeritus faculty will be granted a faculty parking permit; a campus mailbox; emeritus designation in the catalog; and fee waivers when possible (eg. academic courses taken for personal enrichment), for one academic year, or longer if teaching.(see Article 9.G.2) E. Emeritus faculty will be provided with an office space to share, with access to a computer, and will retain their VVC email addresses.

Emeritus. This scheme requires that the management and the employee have a mutual interest in retaining affiliation with the department. A specific agreement about continued affiliation with the department upon retirement is concluded. This may include that the employee retains their office or other workplace for a period. No remuneration is linked to this scheme, but minor remuneration may be paid for tasks stipulated in an agreement. MANAGEMENT SUPPORT The HR department is available for managers who wish to establish a senior scheme for an employee, or who require more general advice. All senior staff schemes must be established through the HR department. Senior schemes applying to academic staff require the involvement and approval of a manager at level 2 (Xxxx/Danish Building Research Institute Director). This agreement is valid as of 1 November 2013 and replaces the agreement reached in the Main Joint Consultation Committee on Senior Policy of 1 April 2009 as well as the accompanying guidelines. The agreement was signed on 24/10-2013 by Xxxx Xxxxxxxx, Chair of the Main Joint Consultation Committee, and on 31/10-2013 by Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxx, Deputy Chair of the Main Joint Consultation Committee.
Emeritus. Directors Emeritus shall not be counted in determining a quorum of the Board, but will be sent notices of Board meetings and minutes of Board meetings and events, and will be invited to attend and participate in Board meetings and events unless the Board by resolution decides to the contrary. The Board alone shall have the right to remove, with or without cause, a Director Emeritus.

Emeritus. XI unconditionally and absolutely guarantees the performance and obligations of the Purchaser under this Agreement. Purchaser may assign any or all of its rights hereunder to an entity which is owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by Purchaser or by Emeritus provided that Emeritus XI concurrently delivers a written reaffirmation of its guarantee of the obligations of the then purchaser hereunder as set forth in this Section 7(e).
Emeritus. (i) shall cause Buyer to fulfill and comply with all of its obligations under this Agreement, (ii) absolutely, unconditionally and irrevocably guarantees, as a principal and not as a surety, to the Minority Members the due and timely performance by Buyer of Buyer's covenants, agreements, obligations, commitments and undertakings given or undertaken or expressed to be given or undertaken under this Agreement.
Emeritus. Tenured faculty who are eligible for retirement under University Policies and Procedures subtopic 610-040 and who are recommended by the Personnel Committee of his/her employing department, the department chairperson representing the faculty, the xxxx of his/her college, the Chief Academic Officer and the president may be awarded emeritus status by the Board of Trustees in recognition of service to his/her department, college or the University. The president has the right to independently recommend to the Board of Trustees the award of emeritus status.
