Employee-Initiated Reassignment Requests. Reassignment may be made by the building site administrator when vacancies occur within his/her own building or when requests are made for changes in grade level, session, or track assignments. Staff unit members may request a change in assignment when the staff vacancy is known or when they desire to make a grade level, session, or track change for the next school year. When more than one school staff unit member has requested a reassignment to another grade level, session, or track, the unit member believed by the building site administrator to be the best qualified shall be reassigned.

Employee-Initiated Reassignment Requests. Unit members may request and may be reassigned to a known vacancy when a unit member vacancy occurs for the next school year within his/her own building. If an employee initiated reassignment is made, it shall be based on the criteria set forth in 5.2 .

  • Permanent Reassignment Nothing in this procedure will preclude Management from permanently reassigning an employee to another position provided the employee is notified, in writing, of the reason(s) for the reassignment. A permanent reassignment is an extraordinary action. In order for an involuntary permanent reassignment to be made, either operational need must exist for the reassignment, or there must exist reasons for the reassignment, which effectively preclude the employee from performing their bid position. An employee on Leave Without Pay for ten (10) or more consecutive work days (except those placed on Leave Without Pay as a result of an illness or injury compensable under the worker’s compensation system or on Family Medical Leave) and/or receiving shared leave for ten (10) or more consecutive work days, or a combination thereof may be reassigned and will have their bid requests suspended until they return to work.

  • Assignment/Reassignment 20.1 An employee shall be assigned/reassigned to a position by the appropriate administrator. Such assignments shall be consistent with the employee's classification except as provided elsewhere in this Article. It is expressly agreed that the application or interpretation of this section shall not require any change of the classification of any unit member.

  • Voluntary Reassignment If a vacancy occurs in the same or other department or division outside the unit member’s normal assignment, the unit member may submit a written request to the College President to be reassigned. Such requests, if received at least one (1) week prior to the closing date for application for an advertised position, shall be considered before those of other applicants.

For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.

  • Voluntary Reduced Work Week Employees subject to the approval by the Appointing Officer may voluntarily elect to work a reduced work week for a specified period of time. Such reduced work week shall not be less than twenty (20) hours per week. Pay, vacation, holidays and sick pay shall be reduced in accordance with such reduced work week.

  • A ssignment Contractor shall not assign any interest in this Agreement and shall not transfer any interest in the same without the prior written consent of County except that claims for money due or to become due Contractor from County under this Agreement may be assigned by Contractor to a bank, trust company, or other financial institution without such approval. Written notice of any such transfer shall be furnished promptly to County. Any attempt at assignment of rights under this Agreement except for those specifically consented to by both parties or as stated above shall be void.

  • Employee Notification A copy of any disciplinary action or material related to employee performance which is placed in the personnel file shall be provided to the employee (the employee so noting receipt, or the supervisor noting employee refusal to acknowledge receipt) or sent by certified mail (return receipt requested) to the employee's last address appearing on the Employer's records.

  • Involuntary Reassignment In the absence of volunteers to fill a vacancy internally, the college may administratively reassign from any overstaffed area that qualified faculty member with the lowest seniority.
