Employee Member Less Than One Year. An employee who has been a member of NAAE for less than one year may terminate his/her membership during the first year by signed written notice via a properly filled out Form SF-1188 with original ink signature to the APHIS Human Resources Division at any time prior to the employee’s first anniversary date of joining NAAE. Such timely received notices will become effective on the day prior to the employee’s one-year anniversary date of joining. After the anniversary date the employee will use provision 1 above.

Employee Member Less Than One Year. An employee who has been a member of the Association for less than one year may request to terminate his/her membership during the first year by signed written notice via a properly filled out SF 1188 at least two pay periods prior to the employee’s first anniversary date of joining the Association. Such timely received notice will become effective on the day prior to the employee’s one-year anniversary date of joining in order to prevent the employee from being a member for more than one year.
