Dues Withholding. SECTION A: An employee officially assigned to a bargaining unit position and who is a member in good standing of the Union may authorize an allotment from his or her pay for Union dues provided that:
1. normal pay is sufficient, after legal deductions and other authorized allotments, to cover the full amount of dues; and
2. that the individual has voluntarily completed Standard Form 1187, Request for Payroll Deduction for Labor Organization Dues, and has been provided with information on the limitations on revocation of authorization as stated in Section L of this Article.
SECTION B: The Union, within 10 days of the effective date of this Agreement, will notify the Human Resources Division in writing of the names and titles of officials authorized to make the necessary certification of Standard Form 1187, the Union treasurer's name and the address to which remittances should be sent, and how the check should be inscribed. If any of this information should change, the Union will promptly notify the Human Resources Division in writing.
SECTION C: The Union will inform each of its members of the voluntary nature of the dues authorization, of the procedure for authorizing the allotment, and the conditions under which the allotment may be revoked. The Union agrees to obtain and distribute to its members Standard Form 1187 and to receive completed forms from members. The Union will receive completed forms from members, enter the amount of dues to be deducted each pay period, determine if the member is in good standing in the Union, complete the required certification, and submit the forms to the Human Resources Division.
SECTION D: Allotments authorized on properly completed and certified forms which are received by the Human Resources Division will be sent to the DOE’s payroll office within 10 days of receipt. The authorized amount to be withheld from the employee's pay will begin the first full pay period after the date of receipt in the DOE’s payroll office. Withholding of the authorized amount will continue until the allotment is terminated under one of the conditions provided in Sections H through L of this article.

Dues Withholding. Section 1. This Article covers all employee-members in exclusively recognized unit, who:
Dues Withholding. A. The Agency will maintain a system for voluntary allotments by employees in the unit for the purpose of paying dues to the Union.
Dues Withholding. Section 1. Employees in the bargaining unit have the right to make voluntary allotments from their pay for payment of dues to the Union, as well as the right to revoke such allotment if desired.
Section 2. The Union is responsible for supplying the standard allotment form (SF1187); distributing it to its members; certifying as to the amount of dues and that the allottee is a member of the bargaining unit; delivering completed forms to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center; and educating its members on the allotment program for payment of dues. Allotted dues will be withheld beginning with the first full pay period following receipt of authorization (SF1187) by the Customer Service Representative in the Accounting Division, Directorate of Resource Management (DRM), USMA, or in the Resource Management Division in the MEDDAC, as appropriate. The original SF1187 will be permanently filed in the DRM, USMA, or the Resource Management Division, MEDDAC, as appropriate. The use of forms other than the SF1187 will not be authorized unless mutually agreed upon and its use approved in advance by the Employer and the Union.
Section 3. Voluntary cancellation of dues checkoff will be initiated by the employee by completing a SF1188, “Revocation of Voluntary Authorization.” However, revocation of an allotment which is otherwise in order and signed by the employee will be accepted and acted upon even though not submitted on the form. A supply of these forms will be maintained by the Customer Service Representative, and a form will be made available to an employee member upon request. A copy of the SF1188, or other appropriate revocation notice, shall be furnished to Local 2367, AFGE, within five (5) days after receipt by the Customer Service Representative. Membership can only be canceled on the anniversary. In accordance with the Statute, Section 7115(a), the one-year period provided for dues revocation will begin from the date on which the employee authorized dues withholding. If this date is unknown, the date of 31 December will be used.
Section 4. When dues have not been deducted, the reason will be noted after the employee’s name on the Remittance Report.

Dues Withholding. The Company agrees to withhold from the wages of each employee working over twenty-four (24) hours or more in any calendar month, and pay to the Union, all initiation fees and dues required by the Union. The Company will deduct such dues in equal amounts each paycheck, and immediately forward the amount with a digital spreadsheet of a list of employees’ names and the addresses and deductions of each to the Union. In addition, quarterly, the Company will also provide the Union with Name, Address and Worksite. The Union will notify the Company in advance of any changes in dues, in writing. The Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Company from any and all liabilities it may suffer as a result of agreeing to be bound by Article 3, including court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
Dues Withholding. 7.1 Members of the bargaining unit are authorized to effect a voluntary allotment for the payment of dues to the Union subject to the provisions outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding between the American Foreign Service Association and the U. S. Department of Agriculture dated July 20, 1994. A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding is in Appendix 3.
Dues Withholding. Section 1. The Employer agrees to deduct Union dues from an employee’s wages uniformly and lawfully levied by NATCA and to remit same to NATCA on a monthly basis, not later than the end of the month following the month in which they are withheld, provided that the employee executes the dues withholding form provided by the Union.
Section 2. Any change in the rate or amount of dues levied by the Union shall be put into effect and the deductions made during the calendar month following the calendar month in which the Employer receives notice of the change.
Section 3. All deductions of dues provided for in this Agreement shall be automatically terminated upon separation of an employee from the bargaining unit.
Section 4. An employee who has authorized the withholding of Union dues may request revocation of such authorization, provided the employee has been on dues withholding for a period of at least one year. Upon receipt of the revocation form, NATCA will notify the Employer to discontinue withholding of dues from the employee’s pay.
Dues Withholding. In order to initiate Union dues withholding by payroll deduction, a bargaining unit employee must complete a Standard Form (SF) 1187, “Request For Payroll Deductions For Labor Organization Dues”. The SF-1187 can be obtained from either the Union or the Administrative Officer. The employee must complete the appropriate spaces, sign it, and submit it to the Union. The Union shall complete its portion of the form before submitting it to the Administrative Officer. This official shall provide a receipt copy to the employee, indicating the pay period in which the deduction is to be effective, i.e., the employee’s anniversary date.
Dues Withholding. SECTION 1. Employees who are members of the Union are permitted to pay dues through the authorization of voluntary allotments from their compensation. This article covers all employees:
A. Who are members in good standing in the Union;
B. Who voluntarily complete Standard Form 1187, Request and Authorization for Voluntary Allotment of Compensation, for payment of Employee Organization Dues; and
C. Who receive compensation sufficient to cover the total amount of the allotment. The provisions of this Article are subject to, and will be governed by, applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations issued by the Office of Personnel Management, the Federal Labor Relations Authority, and the Department of Commerce, and will be modified by any future amendments thereto.
SECTION 2. The Union is responsible for:

C. Forwarding properly executed and certified Standard Form 1187 to the NOAA Labor Relations Office on a timely basis; Management's internal distribution system will not be used for this purpose.
D. Keeping the NOAA Labor Relations Office informed of the name, title, and address of the allottee to whom remittance should be sent. Until further notice, the remittance will be sent by electronic fund transfer to XXXXX's financial institution per Direct Deposit Sign-up Standard Form 1199A executed October 12, 1989.
