Employee Response (Xxxxxx Hearing). Within five (5) business days after the employee has had the review opportunity provided above, he/she shall have the right to respond, orally or in writing, or both, at the employee's option. The five (5) day time limit may be extended by mutual agreement.
Employee Response (Xxxxxx Hearing). Within five (5) working days after service/receipt of the notice of proposed discipline, the employee shall have the right to respond, orally or in writing or both, to the Fire Chief (or the Chief's designee) who thereafter shall conduct a Xxxxxx hearing and then issue a final notice of discipline or other appropriate disposition. The five (5) day time limit during which the employee must request a Xxxxxx hearing may be extended by mutual agreement.
