EMPLOYEE TAXATION. There is a system of withholding sums (POAT - Payments on Account of Tax) from employee remuneration by employers. These are set out in detail in the Payments on Account of Tax (Employees Deductions) Regulations. Non-residents should have income tax deducted at a straight 21%, they can claim any Personal Allowance (PA) entitlement in their individual tax return. Resident individuals should have income tax deductions made according to the monthly/weekly tax tables which take into account the PA. There is limited taxation of benefits-in-kind; these are set out in detail in The Taxes (Benefits in Kind) Rules. There is a separate guide available on Benefits In Kind.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. Contractor’s employees shall be liable for payment of taxes and other mandatory payments to the budget in accordance with the Tax Legislation in force as of the time at which the liability to pay such taxes and other mandatory payments to the budget accrued.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. (a) All amounts payable to any Tax Authority in respect of any Employee (including any Tax deductible from any amounts paid to an Employee, and any national insurance, social fund or similar contributions required to be made in respect of Employees) due and payable being referable to any period up until Completion by the Company up to the date hereof have been duly paid and the Company has made all such deductions and retentions as should have been made under applicable laws or regulations.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 128. The Group has not adopted nor operates nor is part of any scheme approved, or for which approval has been or is to be sought, under Section 202 of the Taxes Act or Part 12 ITEPA (Charities: Payroll Deduction Scheme).
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 13.1 The Seller warrants that it will, or will procure that the Company is fully informed of any payments made to employees or former employees of the Company to enable the Company to comply with its obligations to report and account for employee taxation including payments made by any member of the Seller's Group of companies. The Seller shall notify the Company within 7 days of making such payments or becoming aware of any third party making such a payment.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 18.1 Each Founder undertakes to enter into an election with the Company (or, if the Company is not the Founder's employer, the relevant employer Group Company) pursuant to Section 431(1) of the ITEPA (or equivalent in any other jurisdiction) in a form approved by HMRC (or the relevant equivalent body) to elect to pay income tax (if any) computed with reference to the unrestricted market value of such Securities as required by the Company as the time of acquisition (the "Election"). The Election shall be made not later than 14 days after the subscription or acquisition of such Securities or such longer period as HMRC (or the relevant equivalent body) may direct. Such Election shall be made on a protective basis for any Securities acquired by the Trusts or Sheikh Ventures Limited1 in respect of which the Company has been advised that such Securities are not employment related securities under ITEPA.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 3.1 All Taxation (including where applicable national insurance contributions) deductible under the PAYE system, the Construction Industry Scheme and/or any other Taxation Statute has, so far as is required to be deducted, been fully and correctly deducted from all payments made (or treated as made) by the Company. All amounts due to be paid to the relevant Taxation Authority on or before the date of this agreement have been so paid and proper records thereof have been maintained and the Company has not been subject to a PAYE audit in the last four years.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 39.1 Each Group Member has properly operated the Pay As You Earn (“PAYE”) system in respect of its employees and directors and has accounted to the appropriate Tax Authority for all Tax so deducted and all Tax chargeable on benefits provided to its employees and all returns required by section 203 of ICTA 1988 and Part 11 of the Income Tax (Earnings and Pxxxxxxx) Xxx 0000 and regulations made thereunder have been punctually made in respect of its employees and directors and are accurate and complete in all respects and no Group Member has been subject to a PAYE audit in respect of its employees and directors in the last six years.
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 9.1 The Company has not adopted nor operates nor is part of any scheme approved, or for which approval has been or is to be sought, under Section 202 of the Taxes Act (Charities: Payroll Deduction Scheme) or Chapter III of Part V of the Taxes Act (Profit Related Pay).
EMPLOYEE TAXATION. 9.5.1 All income tax deductible and payable under the PAYE system and payments due in respect of employees’ contributions to national insurance have, so far as is required to be deducted, been properly deducted by the Company and (together with any employer’s contribution) have been fully and correctly paid to the appropriate authority and proper records thereof have been maintained.
