Employees on Leave. If an employee is on leave when an alert status shift is 12 called, he/she will not be called to work unless it is operationally necessary to do so. Employees who 13 have been pre-approved for leave may be relieved from Alert when the leave is scheduled to begin 14 unless the employee elects to cancel or postpone the start of the leave or is operationally necessary 15 due to emergent conditions for management to cancel the leave.
