Common use of Employees’ Right to Present Grievances Clause in Contracts

Employees’ Right to Present Grievances. Any individual employee or group of employees shall have the right at any time to present grievances to the College and to have such grievances adjusted, without the intervention of the Union, as long as the adjustment is not inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement and provided that the Union has been given an opportunity to be present at such adjustment. Grievances under this Section shall not be subject to the grievance procedure without the consent of the Union. The provisions of Section 6.3-with respect to pay for time lost will also apply to any employee presenting grievances to the College in accordance with this Section 6.4.

The provisions of Section 6.3-5.4 with respect to pay for time lost will also apply to any employee presenting grievances to the College in accordance with this Section 6.45.5.
