Common use of Employee’s Scheduled Day Off Clause in Contracts

Employee’s Scheduled Day Off. If a Paid Holiday falls on an employee’s regularly scheduled day off, and so long as the employee worked her/his regularly scheduled shift immediately preceding and immediately following the Paid Holiday, the employee will receive an alternate 8-hour day off with pay to be scheduled during the employee’s next scheduled maintenance week, as a substitute for the Paid Holiday. If a Paid Holiday falls on an employee’s Earned Day Off during her/his maintenance week, and so long as the employee worked her/his regularly scheduled shift immediately preceding and immediately following the Paid Holiday, the employee retains her/his Earned Day Off with pay and will also receive the following day off with pay in lieu of the Paid Holiday.
