Employer May Require Pregnancy Leave. An Employer may require an employee to commence a leave of absence under Article 26.05 if the employee cannot reasonably perform her duties because of the pregnancy and to continue the leave until she provides a certificate from a medical practitioner stating that she is able to perform her duties.
