Employer-Supplied Equipment. All necessary equipment and tools required by the University will be furnished by, retained at, and maintained by the University. The individual employee will be responsible for any loss or damage to any item furnished by the University under this Article caused by the employee’s negligence.

Employer-Supplied Equipment. All necessary equipment and tools required by the University will be furnished by, retained at, and maintained by the University. The individual employee will be responsible for any loss or damage to any item furnished by the University under this Article caused by the employee’s negligence. The University will provide a dry-cleaning laundry service, at no cost to employees, for the purposes of cleaning uniforms. Officers who request a jumpsuit will be responsible for cleaning the jumpsuit. Personal property items of employees, for which the Chief of Police has provided advance written authorization for use on the job, that are damaged while being used within the scope of their duties will be reimbursed on the estimated current value of the damaged article, up to a maximum of $100 per occurrence, excluding prescription eyewear or in instances of employee negligence. For the purposes of this Article, damage does not include normal wear-and-tear. Employees shall be held accountable for all uniforms, weapons and leather/nylon gear which are issued to the employees by the employer.

  • Safe Equipment The City shall furnish and maintain in the best possible working condition, within the limits of its financial capability, the necessary tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment required for members to safely carry out their duties. Members are responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices, for avoiding negligence, and for properly using and caring for tools, facilities, vehicles, supplies, and equipment provided by the City.

  • Stored equipment We accept no responsibility for any stored equipment or other property brought on to or left at the premises, and all liability for loss or damage is hereby excluded. All equipment and other property (other than stored equipment) must be removed at the end of each hiring or we will charge fees each day or part of a day at the hire fee per hiring until the same is removed. We may, in our discretion, dispose of any items referred to below by sale or otherwise on such terms and conditions as we think fit, and charge you any costs we incur in storing and selling or otherwise disposing of the same, in any of the following circumstances:
