Employer Support for Staff Development and Training. (1) The Employer recognizes the necessity of staff development and training and may grant a leave of absence and financial assistance to employees in order to provide them with the opportunity to attend professional or technical seminars, workshops and short courses sponsored or approved by the Employer.
