  • TEACHER EMPLOYMENT 8.1. The Board agrees to employ only those teachers who hold at least a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and are certifiable by the New Hampshire State Department of Education. This provision shall not apply in the instance where the availability of personnel is critical and an appropriate waiver is granted by the New Hampshire State Department of Education.

  • Employment Pool a. All certificated employees who are not recommended for retention in accordance with these procedures shall be terminated from employment and placed in an employment pool for possible re-employment for a period of up to two (2) years. Employment pool personnel will be given the opportunity to fill open positions within the categories or specialties identified in Section 2.A.3. for which they are qualified under Section 2.A.5.
