Common use of End of Year Grievances Clause in Contracts

End of Year Grievances. In the event that a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all of the steps in the grievance procedure by the end of the institution's fiscal year and, if left unresolved until the beginning of the next year, could result in irreparable harm to the grievant or Association, the time limits set forth herein shall be reduced so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the institution's fiscal year or as soon thereafter as possible.

In the event that a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all of the steps in the this grievance procedure by the end of the institution's fiscal year andinstructional year, and if left to have the matter unresolved until the beginning of the next year, could following instructional year would result in irreparable harm to the grievant or Associationa party in interest, the time limits set forth herein shall be reduced by mutual agreement so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the institution's fiscal school year or as soon thereafter as possibleis practicable.
