Year-End Grievances. In the event a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all the steps in this grievance procedure by the end of the school year, and if left unresolved until the beginning of the following school year could result in irreparable harm to a party in interest, the time limits set forth herein shall be reduced so that the grievance procedure may be exhausted prior to the end of the school year or as soon thereafter as is practicable.
Year-End Grievances. In the event a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all steps in this grievance procedure by the end of the contract year, the District and Association will discuss shortening the time for the grievance steps so that, if possible, the grievance procedure can be completed before the end of the contract year.
Year-End Grievances. In the event a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all the steps in this grievance procedure by the end of the school year, the time limits set forth herein for Steps One and Two shall be reduced so that said steps of the grievance procedure may be completed prior to the end of the school year. The provisions of the Third Step shall apply to year-end grievances, but no arbitration hearing shall be scheduled during the summer vacation period.
Year-End Grievances. When a grievance is submitted on or after May 20, time limits shall continue into the summer and continue to include weekdays, Monday through Friday, so that matters may be resolved as soon as possible.
Year-End Grievances. In the event that a grievance is filed by an employee working less than twelve (12) months at such time that it cannot be processed through the steps in this procedure by the end of the work year of the grievant, by mutual agreement of the District and the Association, time limits set forth herein may be modified.
Year-End Grievances. In the event a grievance is filed at such time that it cannot be processed through all steps in the procedure by the end of the school year, the grievance steps shall be accelerated, if possible, or the time shall be extended by mutual consent.
Year-End Grievances. The aggrieved person must initiate the grievance procedure within 45 days of the event or circumstances which caused the grievance. In cases of year-end grievances, days will not be counted during July and August if the grievance cannot be heard by June 30th.
Year-End Grievances. In the event a grievance is filed at a time that it cannot be processed through all the steps in this grievance procedure by the end of the school year, then, in that event, the Board shall, at its next regularly scheduled meeting or special meeting, whichever first occurs, review and decide said grievance. The decision of the Board under these circumstances shall be communicated in writing to the grievant within ten (10) school days of the decision.
Year-End Grievances. 1. The time limits for grievances extending beyond the close of the school year shall consist of District workdays.
2. Beginning with the formal step (Step Two) of Type I and Type II grievance, the original copy of the grievance form shall be signed and returned to the grievant.
3. If a grievance is filed prior to the end of the contract term it will be process under the terms of this ARTICLE even though the contract expires prior to the time the grievance is decided or submitted to binding arbitration.
