Enterprise Bargaining Negotiations. 11.9.1. The Employer respects the right of UWU Delegates to be involved in negotiations for new enterprise agreements. Therefore, the Employer and UWU will, prior to negotiations for a replacement agreement commencing, agree: 11.9.1.1. upon the dates, times and venue for negotiations; and 11.9.1.2. the number of UWU Delegates who will attend and from what geographical areas. 11.9.2. The Employer will ensure that UWU Delegates are given adequate time to participate in teleconferences with UWU officials, for the purposes of being updated on negotiations, and then adequate time to report back to workers at their site. 11.9.3. Either prior to or at commencement of bargaining, the Employer will provide to UWU the following information: 11.9.3.1. The number of Employees to be covered by the proposed enterprise agreement; 11.9.3.2. The location(s) of Employees to be covered by the proposed enterprise agreement, including the number at each worksite; 11.9.3.3. The number of Employees employed on a casual, part-time and full- time basis and the FTE equivalent (including identification of what worksite).
Enterprise Bargaining Negotiations. The Ventia respects the right of workplace delegates to be involved in negotiations for new collective agreements. Notwithstanding this, as this Agreement is a national agreement, the parties will, prior to negotiations for a replacement agreement commencing, agree: • upon the dates, times and venue for negotiations; and • the number of workplace delegates who will attend and from what geographical areas. As a general principle, it is expected that workplace delegates from the State or Territory where the negotiations are being held will attend, while workplace delegates from other States or Territories will only attend in exceptional circumstances, as agreed between the Ventia and the Union. The Ventia will ensure that workplace delegates are given adequate time to participate in national teleconferences with union officials, for the purposes of being updated on negotiations, and then adequate time to report back to Employees at their site.

  • Union Bargaining Committee A Union Bargaining Committee shall be appointed by the Union and shall consist of up to three (3) members of the Union together with the President of the Union or her designate. The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of members of the staff of the Union when negotiating with the Employer.

  • Bargaining Unit Information The Employer agrees to provide the Union such information relating to Employees in the bargaining unit as may be required by the Union for the purpose of collective bargaining.

  • Work of the Bargaining Unit (a) In order to protect the standard of nursing care, the Employer shall not contract out the work normally performed by members of this bargaining unit except: i) For purposes of instruction, ii) In the event of an emergency situation, iii) When performing developmental or experimental work, or iv) When employees are not available due to an employee not reporting for work as scheduled or not being available for work. (b) Reassignment to other employees of work normally performed by members of the bargaining unit shall not result in the termination, layoff or reduction in hours of any member of the bargaining unit. (c) When it is decided to not fill a position following an employee’s resignation, the Home will provide the rationale in writing for this decision to the Union. The Union may request a meeting to make representations on this matter.
