Purchase of additional annual leave a) An employee, subject to the provisions in this clause, may purchase additional annual leave. Eligible employees may purchase up to four weeks additional annual leave each year.
Purchase of additional annual leave. (a) By agreement with the Employer, an employee can purchase additional annual leave, in excess of that referred to in clause 23.1 of this Agreement of up to four weeks (144 hours) annual leave.
(b) Annual leave purchased in accordance with this clause must be taken within 12 months of it being purchased, unless agreed otherwise.
(c) The amount paid to an employee when taking purchased annual leave pursuant to this clause shall be equal to the actual dollar amount as it was at the time the employee purchased the entitlement.

Purchase of additional annual leave. (a) Where an Employee and the Company agree, the Employee may purchase an extra 2 weeks of paid additional annual leave during a particular year of employment. For example, a Full-time Employee may purchase 72.5 hours of additional annual leave.
(b) To purchase additional annual leave, an Employee’s Base Hourly Rate will be reduced to reflect the amount of additional annual leave purchased.
(c) Approval of an Employee’s request to purchase additional annual leave will be at the discretion of the Company and will be valid for 1 year only.
(d) An Employee who purchases additional annual leave is required to take all annual leave and additional purchased annual leave during the year in which such leave is accrued. If the Employee does not comply with this requirement, the Employee, at the discretion of the Company, will not be eligible to apply for additional annual leave in the following year.
(e) An Employee’s eligibility to apply for additional annual leave and the taking of additional annual leave will be subject to the Company’s policies as varied from time to time. Such policies do not form part of this Agreement.
(f) Where an Employee’s Base Hourly Rate is reduced for the purchase of additional annual leave, the new Base Hourly Rate will apply to the Employee for all purposes including but not limited to the calculation of:
(1) annual leave;
(2) personal leave;
(3) overtime;
(4) shift allowances;
(5) penalty payments for working public holidays;
(6) superannuation contributions.
Purchase of additional annual leave. (a) A full-time or part-time employee can make application in writing to purchase additional whole weeks of annual leave to a maximum of an additional four (4) weeks annual leave. This additional purchased leave will be added to the employee’s available leave balance on an incremental basis.
(b) The additional leave purchased by the employee’s annual salary, as per clause 14.1 (a) or (c) being reduced by the equivalent value of the leave sought, with the reduction spread across their weekly pay for 52 weeks.
(c) Any approval of applications for the purchase of additional annual leave shall be subject to the business needs.
Purchase of additional annual leave. (a) An employee may, by agreement with Kyeema Support Services Inc, implement an arrangement whereby the employee becomes entitled to an additional 1 or 2 weeks annual leave, in exchange for a commensurate reduction in ordinary weekly pay.
(b) In situations where it is judged that an agreement provided by clause 18.3(a) will have a negative impact on business, no such agreement will be entered into. It is expected that these situations will be rare.
(c) Any agreement entered into under clause 18.3(a) will be implemented on written application by the employee, and in accordance with a written agreement between Kyeema Support Services Inc and the employee.
(d) Any agreement entered into under clause 18.3(a) will be implemented on the understanding that the arrangement is for a finite period, with the relevant time frame included in the written agreement provided for by clause 18.3(c). At the end of the defined period to which the arrangement applied, the arrangement will be reviewed prior to a decision being made as to its continuation, amendment or cessation.
(e) Should an employee wish to terminate or amend an agreement provided for in clause 18.3 prior to the end date described in clause 18.3(d), the employee shall advise Kyeema Support Services Inc of this decision in writing, with the provision of at least 2 weeks’ notice.
Purchase of additional annual leave. (a) Employees can purchase up to two additional weeks’ annual leave per annum.
(b) The cost of purchasing the additional annual leave will be deducted from an employee’s wages over an 11 month period.
(c) This benefit is provided in accordance with Company policy which is available on the Company’s intranet.
(d) Deductions made under this clause must not result in an employee receiving less than the federal minimum wage.
Purchase of additional annual leave. 8.5.1 Employees may apply to purchase up to an additional 2 weeks of annual leave in a 12 month financial year period. The employee’s annual salary will be reduced by the equivalent of the 2 weeks of pay and will then be worked out as a fortnightly pay across a 12 month pay period. The reduction of annual salary is in exchange for the additional annual leave.
8.5.2 Consideration as to whether to approve the request to purchase additional annual leave will be subject to business needs but will not be unreasonably refused. Purchased leave will count as service for all purposes.
8.5.3 Any unused purchased leave at the conclusion of the financial year will be paid back to the employee.
Purchase of additional annual leave. An employee who has been continuously employed for 12 (twelve) months or more will be eligible to purchase either one (1) week (five (5) working days) or two (2) weeks (10 (ten) working days) of annual leave in addition to their normal entitlement of four (4) weeks, at a rate equivalent to one (1) week’s pro-rata salary for each week of leave taken, subject to the following:
(a) purchasing and taking additional annual leave is subject to approval by the employee’s manager;
(b) the rate at which additional annual leave shall be purchased shall exclude annual leave loading;
Purchase of additional annual leave. Employees may elect to purchase up to two (2) weeks additional annual leave every 12 months. The cost of the annual leave (which will depend on the amount of leave an employee purchases and their salary), will be deducted from their salary. Purchased leave may not be taken at half pay and must be taken in blocks of whole working days.
Purchase of additional annual leave. Employees may participate in the Ramsay Flexible Leave Program to access an additional 2, 3 or 4 weeks annual leave (Purchased Annual Leave) per year and receive proportionately less pay each pay period throughout the year.
