Environmentally Preferred Products. Cambium values environmentally preferred products. We work with and encourage our suppliers to create products that are energy efficient, highly recyclable and contain significant amounts of recycled materials and low amounts of hazardous materials. To enable us to evaluate Supplier’s components and products for environmental performance, Supplier must provide material disclosures ii Ozone-Depleting Substances: It is Cambium’s policy to eliminate from Cambium products any components — including components provided by our suppliers — that contain or that are manufactured with a process that uses any Class I ozone-depleting substance. Supplier shall provide certification that products supplied to Cambium, do not contain or are not manufactured with a process that uses any Class I ozone-depleting chemicals.

Environmentally Preferred Products. The City of Phoenix has adopted a pollution prevention (P2) policy to provide sound environmental stewardship, protect human health, reduce operating expenses associated with the use of hazardous materials, and reduce potential liability to the City. The policy reflects our environmentally preferable purchasing (EPP) initiative. “
Environmentally Preferred Products. To promote and encourage environmentally sustainable practices for companies doing business with the City, the City requests vendors under City contract use environmentally preferable products in production of City work products. 3.1 The awarded bidder should use environmentally preferable materials that meet performance requirements wherever practical in the fulfillment of this agreement. Environmentally preferable products and services have characteristics that include but are not limited to the following: • Energy Efficient • Reusable or upgradeable • Recyclable • Contain post-consumer recycled materials • Produce fewer polluting by-products and/or safety hazards during manufacture, use or disposal, and/or • Are certified by an independent accredited third party program such as EcoLogo or ENERGY STAR. 3.2 The City desires the use of post-consumer recycled content, chlorine-free paper to encourage environmentally preferable practices for City business wherever practical in the fulfillment of the scope of work.
Environmentally Preferred Products. The DAS has established procedures that promote the procurement and use of environmentally preferable products and services by Client Agencies. The term “environmentally preferable” means, with regard to products, services or practices, that such products, services or practices have a lesser or reduced negative effect on human health and the environment when compared to competing products, services or practices that serve the same function. Environmentally preferable attributes include: • Made of recycled content • Made of post-consumer content • Recyclable • Less- or non-toxic or • Energy efficient Include information on the environmental attribute(s) by designating catalog products with the preceding attributes by the use of a recycled logo or some other such form of identification whenever possible. • All Products, including Parts and Workmanship – minimum of 10 years • Operational Mechanisms – minimum of 5 years

  • Materials of Environmental Concern have not been transported or disposed of from the Properties in violation of, or in a manner or to a location that could give rise to liability under, any Environmental Law, nor have any Materials of Environmental Concern been generated, treated, stored or disposed of at, on or under any of the Properties in violation of, or in a manner that could give rise to liability under, any applicable Environmental Law;

  • Environmentally Preferable Procurement Policy The Environmentally Preferable Procurement Policy, along with a brief policy description, is located on the City’s website at the following link: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/esd/natural-energy-resources/epp.htm. Environmental procurement policies and activities related to the completion of any Work will include, whenever practicable, but are not limited to:  The use of recycled and/or recyclable products in daily operations (i.e. 30%, 50%, 100% PCW paper, chlorine process free, triclosan free hand cleaner, etc.);  The use of energy-star compliant equipment;  The use of alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles, and implementation of protocols aimed at increasing the efficiency of vehicle operation;  The implementation of internal waste reduction and reuse protocol(s); and  Water and resource conservation activities within facilities, including bans on individual serving bottled water and the use of compostable food service products.

  • Materials of Environmental Concern have not been transported or disposed of from the Properties in violation of, or in a manner or to a location which could give rise to liability under, any Environmental Law, nor have any Materials of Environmental Concern been generated, treated, stored or disposed of at, on or under any of the Properties in violation of, or in a manner that could give rise to liability under, any applicable Environmental Law, except insofar as any such violation or liability referred to in this paragraph, or any aggregation thereof, could not reasonably be expected to result in the payment of a Material Environmental Amount.

  • Chemical Substances Supplier warrants that: (i) each chemical substance contained in Products is on the inventory of chemical substances compiled and published by the Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act and (ii) all Material Safety Data Sheets required to be provided by Supplier for Products shall be provided to DXC prior to shipment of the Products and shall be complete and accurate.

  • Environmental Laws and Hazardous Materials The Company and its subsidiaries are in compliance with all foreign, federal, state and local rules, laws and regulations relating to the use, treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous or toxic substances or waste and protection of health and safety or the environment which are applicable to their businesses (“Environmental Laws”). There has been no storage, generation, transportation, handling, treatment, disposal, discharge, emission, or other release of any kind of toxic or other wastes or other hazardous substances by, due to, or caused by the Company or any of its subsidiaries (or, to the Company’s Knowledge, any other entity for whose acts or omissions the Company or any of its subsidiaries is or may otherwise be liable) upon any of the property now or previously owned or leased by the Company or any of its subsidiaries, or upon any other property, in violation of any law, statute, ordinance, rule, regulation, order, judgment, decree or permit or which would, under any law, statute, ordinance, rule (including rule of common law), regulation, order, judgment, decree or permit, give rise to any liability; and there has been no disposal, discharge, emission or other release of any kind onto such property or into the environment surrounding such property of any toxic or other wastes or other hazardous substances with respect to which the Company or any of its subsidiaries has knowledge.

  • Environmental Studies Promptly conduct and complete, at Borrower’s expense, all such investigations, studies, samplings and testings as may be requested by Lender or any governmental authority relative to any substance, or any waste or by-product of any substance defined as toxic or a hazardous substance under applicable federal, state, or local law, rule, regulation, order or directive, at or affecting any property or any facility owned, leased or used by Borrower.

  • DEVELOPMENTAL REQUIREMENTS The Personal Development Plan (PDP) for addressing developmental gaps is attached as Annexure B.

  • Environmental Tobacco Smoke Public Law 103-227 (also known as the Pro-Children Act of 1994) and Vermont’s Act 135 (2014) (An act relating to smoking in lodging establishments, hospitals, and child care facilities, and on State lands) restrict the use of tobacco products in certain settings. Party shall ensure that no person is permitted: (i) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes as defined in 7 V.S.A. § 1001 on the premises, both indoor and outdoor, of any licensed child care center or afterschool program at any time; (ii) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes on the premises, both indoor and in any outdoor area designated for child care, health or day care services, kindergarten, pre-kindergarten, elementary, or secondary education or library services; and (iii) to use tobacco products or tobacco substitutes on the premises of a licensed or registered family child care home while children are present and in care. Party will refrain from promoting the use of tobacco products for all clients and from making tobacco products available to minors. Failure to comply with the provisions of the federal law may result in the imposition of a civil monetary penalty of up to $1,000 for each violation and/or the imposition of an administrative compliance order on the responsible entity. The federal Pro-Children Act of 1994, however, does not apply to portions of facilities used for inpatient drug or alcohol treatment; service providers whose sole source of applicable federal funds is Medicare or Medicaid; or facilities where Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) coupons are redeemed.

  • Dangerous Materials Tenant shall not keep or have on the Premises any article or thing of a dangerous, flammable, or explosive character that might substantially increase the danger of fire on the Premises, or that might be considered hazardous by a responsible insurance company, unless the prior written consent of Landlord is obtained and proof of adequate insurance protection is provided by Tenant to Landlord.

  • Environmental Liability Except as would not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to have a Company Material Adverse Effect: (i) there is no legal, administrative, or other proceeding, claim or action of any nature seeking to impose, or that would reasonably be expected to result in the imposition of, on the Company or any Company Subsidiary, any liability relating to the release of hazardous substances as defined under any local, state or federal environmental statute, regulation or ordinance, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980, pending or, to the Company’s knowledge, threatened against the Company or any Company Subsidiary; (ii) to the Company’s knowledge, there is no reasonable basis for any such proceeding, claim or action; and (iii) neither the Company nor any Company Subsidiary is subject to any agreement, order, judgment or decree by or with any court, Governmental Entity or third party imposing any such environmental liability.
