Epidemic. If, as a result of government action due to a epidemic, the facility, or the space to be rented by the Exhibitor, becomes unavailable to Show Management for the show, and Exhibitor has made all payments according to the contract schedule, Exhibitor shall be entitled to a 100% refund for all payments received and shall waive all claims for damages or compensation that arise as a result of, or are a consequence of, such change.
Epidemic. The occurrence of more cases than expected of a disease or other health condition in a given area or among a specific group of persons during a particular period, and declared as such by the World Health Organization (WHO), or the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in Latin America, or the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or a local government or equivalent body (i.e. local ministry of health) where the epidemic is developing.
