Equipment - Equipment utilized to transport additional litter will be constructed in a manner to preclude spillage or loss of litter along the roadway. All open top carriers will be covered and secured with tarpaulins. The Contractor will promptly remove all spillages at no cost to the County. The Contractor will submit a written request for approval, to the County's Representative, for the use of specialized equipment designed for mechanized removal of additional litter and debris. The County's Representative will require the Contractor to establish, at the Contractor's expense, satisfactory results that the specialized equipment will produce quality additional litter removal. The County's Representative will require additional safety devices or precautions unique to the equipment. Equipment that damages curbs, pavement, or turf will not be allowed.

Equipment - Equipment utilized to transport additional litter shall be constructed in a manner to preclude spillage or loss of litter/debris along the roadway. All open top carriers shall be covered and secured with tarpaulins. The Contractor, at no cost to the County, shall remove all spillages promptly. The Contractor shall submit a written request for approval, to the County's Representative, for the use of specialized equipment designed for mechanized removal of additional litter and debris. The County’s Representative will require the Contractor to establish, at the Contractor's expense, satisfactory results that the specialized equipment shall produce quality additional litter removal. The County's Representative shall require additional safety devices or precautions unique to the equipment. Equipment that damages curbs, pavement, or turf will not be allowed. No work shall be permitted during non-daylight hours. When performing additional litter pickup operations, workmen will be required to wear reflective clothing of high visibility such as a vest, shirt, or jacket and these are to comply with O.S.H.A. requirements/standards.

  • New Equipment Where new types of equipment and/or operations, for which rates of pay are not established by this Agreement, are put into use after the ratification date of this Agreement within operations covered by this Agreement, rates governing such operations shall be subject to negotiations between the parties. This paragraph shall apply to all new types of equipment including office and clerical equipment. In the event agreement cannot be reached within sixty (60) days after the date such equipment is put into use, the matter may be submit- xxx to the National Grievance Committee for final disposition. Rates agreed upon or awarded shall be effective as of the date equipment is put to use.

  • Equipment Use Lessee agrees that the Equipment will be operated by competent, qualified personnel in connection with Lessee's business for the purpose for which the Equipment was designed and in accordance with applicable operating instructions, laws, and government regulations, and that Lessee shall use all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or damage to the Equipment from fire and other hazards. Lessee shall procure and maintain in effect all orders, licenses, certificates, permits, approvals, and consents required by federal, state, or local laws or by any governmental body, agency, or authority in connection with the delivery, installation, use, and operation of the Equipment.

  • Test equipment For the tests an inertia dynamometer shall be equipped with the vehicle brake in question. The dynamometer shall be instrumented for continuous recording of rotational speed, brake torque, pressure in the brake line or actuation force, number of rotations after brake application, braking time and brake rotor temperature.

  • Life support equipment (a) If a person living at your premises requires life support equipment, you must register the premises with us or your distributor. To register, you will need to give written confirmation from a registered medical practitioner of the requirement for life support equipment at the premises.
