Equipment, Supplies, Materials and Textbooks. PCCD understands and agrees that under State law, School District K-12 students cannot be assessed fees for equipment, supplies, materials and textbooks, as a condition to participation in educational experiences as a part of their public education. All equipment, textbooks and supplemental supplies and materials required for Courses shall be provided free of charge to School District students. The School District shall bear the cost of such equipment, materials, supplies and textbooks, provided however that, as part of the preparation of each Course Agreement, the Parties shall meet and confer to confirm the requisite materials for said Course. The PCCD instructor shall determine the type, make, and model of all equipment, books and materials to be used during each Course and may use materials and equipment previously purchased for past courses. In determining the type of textbooks to be used in each Course, the instructor may consider purchasing alternatives such as low-cost or no-cost options, book rentals or open educational resources. Written preapproval from the Superintendent of the School District or his/her designee on the Course Agreement is required to bind the School District to pay for the equipment, books, supplies and materials to be used during each Course.

  • Materials and Equipment ‌ Material means property that may be consumed or expended during performance, component parts of a higher assembly, or items that lose their individual identity through incorporation into an end item. Equipment means a tangible item that is functionally complete for its intended purpose, durable, nonexpendable, and needed for performance. Materials and Equipment shall be priced in accordance with the terms of the task order award, contract type, and applicable FAR and agency-specific regulatory supplements. Unless otherwise directed by task order terms and conditions, the Contractor may apply indirect costs to materials and equipment consistent with the Contractor’s usual accounting practices.

  • Materials and Supplies The cost of materials and supplies is allowable. Purchases should be charged at their actual prices after deducting all cash discounts, trade discounts, rebates, and allowances received. Withdrawals from general stores or stockrooms should be charged at cost under any recognized method of pricing, consistently applied. Incoming transportation charges are a proper part of materials and supply costs.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the Engineer for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the Engineer of the Engineer's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

  • Solicitations for Subcontractors, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the contractor for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the contractor of the contractor's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, sex, age, and disability/handicap.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts, Including Procurement of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the Local Government for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurement of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier will be notified by the Local Government of the Local Government’s obligations under this Agreement and the Acts and Regulations relative to Nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

  • Equipment and Materials CONTRACTOR shall provide all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the performance on the Agreement except:

  • Quality of Materials and workmanship The Contractor shall ensure that the Construction, Materials and workmanship are in accordance with the requirements specified in this Agreement, Specifications and Standards and Good Industry Practice.

  • Third Party Materials The Application may display, include, or make available third-party content (including data, information, applications, and other products, services, and/or materials) or provide links to third-party websites or services, including through third- party advertising ("Third-Party Materials"). You acknowledge and agree that Company is not responsible for Third-Party Materials, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, quality, or any other aspect thereof. Company does not assume and will not have any liability or responsibility to you or any other person or entity for any Third-Party Materials. Third-Party Materials and links thereto are provided solely as a convenience to you, and you access and use them entirely at your own risk and subject to such third parties' terms and conditions.

  • PRODUCT MANUFACTURER'S SUPPLIERS Only those dealers/distributors listed by the manufacturer will be considered authorized to act on behalf of the Product Manufacturer.

  • Materials and Improvements Title to materials, improvements, and other property required of PURCHASER by this contract shall vest in and become the property of STATE at the time such are furnished by PURCHASER and accepted by STATE. Only materials, improvements, and property free and clear of liens, claims, and encumbrances shall be furnished by PURCHASER. All existing improvements located on State land, and any improvements placed on State land by PURCHASER which become the property of STATE, shall be safeguarded by PURCHASER. If such improvements are injured, damaged, or removed from the areas of operations by PURCHASER or by contractors of PURCHASER, such improvements shall be repaired (or replaced, in the event of removal,) as soon as possible by PURCHASER, without cost to STATE.
