Supplies and Materials. The Service Provider shall make available certain materials and supplies to the Customer for use in introducing VINE to the community. The creation of print, radio and television PSAs is included in the fees. A. Appriss will provide support materials in agreed upon quantities for all VINE services one time per contract year as part of the recurring operational fees. 1. At the Customer’s expense, support materials in excess of agreed upon quantities may be purchased from the Service Provider at our published pricing. B. The creation of radio and television Public Service Announcements (PSAs) is included in the service as well. 1. Appriss will provide a tailored version of our stock television PSA at no additional charge. 2. Radio PSAs will be produced and provided on a CD at no additional charge. The radio PSA can also be sent electronically for distribution by email or posted on websites.
Supplies and Materials. 33.1 The School Trustees and the Association recognize that appropriate texts, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, writing materials, standardized tests and questionnaires, and similar materials are important in teaching. 33.2 Joint committees shall be established in each school composed of two (2) teachers elected by the teaching staff through a process determined by the Association and one (1) administrative staff member. The committee shall meet at least quarterly during the school year for the purpose of improving the selection, delivery and use of such educational materials. A committee member or a designated Association building representative (for those schools who choose not to have a committee) shall be provided with a copy of the monthly report regarding expenditures for supplies and materials sent to the school sites. 33.3 Within the resources available, a reasonable effort will be made to provide teachers with supplies and materials in a timely fashion. Shortages and problems with timely provision of materials will be discussed by the joint committee in an effort to resolve the matter prior to any other recourse provided by this Agreement. 33.4 Forms to evaluate the quality of the supplies and materials will be provided by the District to each school.

The Building Principal shall return a copy of the request to the teacher indicating any disagreement or inability to purchase the top priority items subject to budget finalization. 3. If the teacher is not satisfied with this response, the teacher shall consult with the Building Principal to resolve the matter. This procedure shall be accomplished by May 15. 4. As soon as the materials, supplies, budget is finalized, the Building Principal shall communicate to each teacher any changes in the previously planned purchases or need to rearrange priorities. The Board will attempt to purchase items in order of priority, but it is recognized that in conjunction with the above procedure, purchases shall be at the Board's discretion.

Supplies and Materials. Use for all consumable items and materials including equipment- type items costing less than $5,000 each. This includes office, printing, janitorial, postage and educational supplies; medical supplies; contraceptives and vaccines; tape and gauze; prescriptions and other appropriate drugs and chemicals. Federal Provided Vaccine Value should be reported and identified on in Other Cost Distributions category. Do not combine with supplies.

The Board recognizes that appropriate texts, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, physical education equipment, current periodicals, standard texts and questionnaires, and similar materials are the tools of the teaching profession. The parties will confer from time to time for the purpose of improving the selection and use of such educational tools. The Board agrees at all times to keep the school reasonably equipped and maintained within the financial means of the District considering the entire educational program of the District. Requests by teachers for educational materials, when properly filed, shall formally responded to within fifteen (15) days. 2. The Board shall provide a teacher reference library in the District and include therein all texts which are reasonably requested by the teachers of the District which pertain to an instructional area offered by the school District and will increase the proficiency of such instruction, provided that financial constraints of the District shall be considered. Current periodicals provided in teacher’s workroom shall be maintained. 3. The Board will continue to provide each school with adequate duplicating facilities to aid teachers in the preparation of instructional materials. 4. The Board shall provide: a. A separate desk for each teacher in the District with a lockable desk drawer. b. Suitable closet space for each teacher to store coats, and personal articles. c. Adequate chalkboard space in every classroom.
