Estimates of Quantities. The Contractor is advised that quantities referenced herein are estimates only and that actual quantities may vary widely from estimates given herein. Estimates given are based on previous experience and not on completed surveys. The Commissioner reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities estimated herein. Actual quantities may be more or less, than that noted on the bid schedule and if so, no claims for damage or loss of profit shall accrue to the Contractor by reason thereof.
Estimates of Quantities. Estimates of quantities provided under this Agreement are not intended to be, nor should they be considered to be, precise. The estimate will be performed pursuant to generally accepted standards of professional practice in effect at the time of performance.

For the estimate of quantities of Work listed in the Proposal Pages, it is understood that: (1) the estimate is approximate only; (2) SCC does not expressly or by implication represent or warrant the actual quantities involved will correspond to the estimate; (3) Contractor must estimate his own quantities; and (4) This Proposal is a Lump Sum Contract.

If the scope of services requires Consultant to estimate quantities, such estimates are made on the basis of Consultant’s experience and qualifications and represent Consultant’s best judgment as a professional. However, such estimates are only estimates and shall not constitute representations, warranties or guarantees of the quantities of the subject of the estimate.
