Evaluation of Management Strategies Sample Clauses

Evaluation of Management Strategies. A modeling framework is used to evaluate the potential trade-offs and outcomes associated with alternative management scenarios. The modeling strategy is selected to best simulate behavior of the coastal ecosystem in response to shifts in natural and anthropogenic drivers, and to provide a clear evaluation of the ecological and socio-economic consequences of different management actions. The outcomes of the models must be made available and reviewed by stakeholders and decision makers at the relevant scales, and eventually incorporated into policy and plans for management of coastal ecosystems.
