Evidence Supporting Claim. 10.5.1 The employee may be required to produce a medical certificate signed by a registered health practitioner or in circumstances where it is not practicable to do so, a statutory declaration by the employee, stating the reasons at he/she was unfit for work. 10.5.2 If the employee attends for work whilst suffering illness, the employer will be entitled to send the employee home.
