Common use of Exhaustion of Leave Clause in Contracts

Exhaustion of Leave. If an individual's sick leave has expired and that individual is ill or injured and under a medical doctor's care, then the individual shall have deducted from his/her regular salary the amount of the substitute's pay, up to a maximum of ten (10) days, and after the extended ten (10) days, then 1/190 of the individual's pay shall be withheld. If illness/injury absences occur other than District approved, 1/190 of the individual's pay shall be withheld up to, but not beyond, the end of the current school year.
