ECS shall increase the base by two (2%) percent, effective for 2016-2017 hires. In the event a teacher who is currently employed by ECS under a contract which would provide for compensation less than the salary established for a teacher hired with a BA and 0 years experience, the teacher’s compensation shall be increased, provided the teacher is not currently rated as Ineffective or Improvement Necessary, to an amount equivalent to BA-0, plus any increase previously received by said teacher under the base pay compensation plan.

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.

  • Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.

Because insurers account for contingent payments when developing general pricing, the price our clients pay for their policies is not affected whether Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx accepts contingent payments or not. FATCA The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is a U.S. law aimed at foreign financial institutions and other financial intermediaries (including insurance companies and intermediaries such as brokers) to prevent tax evasion by U.S. citizens and residents through offshore accounts. In order to comply with FATCA, insurance companies and intermediaries must meet certain legal requirements. Insurance placed with an insurance company that is not FATCA compliant may result in a 30% withholding tax on your premium. Where FATCA is applicable to you, in order to avoid this withholding tax, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx will only place your insurance with FATCA- compliant insurers and intermediaries for which no withholding is required unless you instruct us to do otherwise and provide your advance written authorization to do so. If you do instruct Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxx to place your insurance with a non-FATCA compliant insurer or intermediary, you may have to pay an additional amount equivalent to 30% of the premium covering U.S. - sourced risks to cover the withholding tax. If you instruct us to place your insurance with a non-FATCA compliant insurer but you do not agree to pay the additional 30% withholding if required, we will not place your insurance with such insurer. Please consult your tax adviser for full details of FATCA.

  • Final Compensation Final Compensation for an employee, who is employed by the State for the first time and becomes a member of CalPERS prior to January 15, 2011, is based on the highest average monthly pay rate during twelve (12) consecutive months of employment. Final Compensation for an employee, who is employed by the State for the first time and becomes a member of CalPERS on or after January 15, 2011, is based on the highest average monthly pay rate during thirty-six (36) consecutive months of employment.
