Common use of Extended Hours of Work Clause in Contracts

Extended Hours of Work. Where the Parties to this Collective Agreement agree to implement a system employing an extended work-day and resultant compressed work- week, they shall evidence such Collective Agreement by signing a document indicating those affected positions where such Collective Agreement applies. Any alteration of the extended work-day agreement shall be by mutual agreement only. The list of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Health Care Aide (HCA) and Cook I and Cook II (limited to Chateau Vitaline) positions may be amended from time-to-time by agreement of the Parties. Such list shall indicate whether this list applies to Full-time Employees, Part-time Employees or both.
